 About Me  My Name is Tim C Mockford. I live in the village of Highclere in rural West Berkshire with my partner Louise and our extended family of 'shoeless' horses Hanny & Tootsie, a 15/2 Welsh Section D and an 16/2 Anglo Arab It was problems with Hanny's feet that first lead me to start questioning tradition and ultimately, to train with the Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry both in the UK and the US, to become a professional trimmer As a DAEP I run a busy practice covering the south of England and feel very privileged to work with an incredibly diverse range of horses, not to mention a host of passionate and committed owners ! As a Licensed Instructor for the Institute, I also run 3-Day 'Hoof Care' Workshops at venues across the UK, as well as lecturing to and working with, other equine professionals and equine organisations
